Pokemon has been producing games since it first game release in 1996 with Pokemon Red and Green and has continued producing content as of now. Involving main line story games as well as spin offs. The newest mainline Pokemon game Legends Z-A comes out this year on October 16 2025 with new game play and features.
The Anime
Over the years the Pokemon franchise has had its fair share of tv shows and series. With 8 long series involving the brands main character Ash Ketchum and his partner Pokemon Pikachu with over 25 seasons worth of content. However in 2023 his story came to a close and a new story was created called "Pokemon Horizons" with a new main character called Liko telling her story as she explored the world with her partner Pokemon Sprigatito.
The electric mouse pokemon
Pikachu is an electric type pokemon. It is small only reaching 1 ft 4 inches in height and is dangerous when threatened. When it is angered, it immediately discharges the energy stored in the pouches in its cheeks releasing an electric shock to anyone nearby. Using a thunder stone a Pikachu can evolve into a Raichu Ash's Pikachu however never evolved because it chose not to.
