Pokemon has been producing games since it first game release in 1996 with Pokemon Red and Green and has continued producing content as of now. Involving main line story games as well as spin offs. The newest mainline Pokemon game Legends Z-A comes out this year on October 16 2025 with new game play and features.
The Anime
Over the years the Pokemon franchise has had its fair share of tv shows and series. With 8 long series involving the brands main character Ash Ketchum and his partner Pokemon Pikachu with over 25 seasons worth of content. However in 2023 his story came to a close and a new story was created called "Pokemon Horizons" with a new main character called Liko telling her story as she explored the world with her partner Pokemon Sprigatito.
The electric mouse pokemon
Pikachu is an electric type pokemon. It is small only reaching 1 ft 4 inches in height and is dangerous when threatened. When it is angered, it immediately discharges the energy stored in the pouches in its cheeks releasing an electric shock to anyone nearby. Using a thunder stone a Pikachu can evolve into a Raichu. Ash's Pikachu however never evolved because it chose not to. Pikachu had a hard internal battle about choosing not to evolve even while facing his evolved form in battle during the Vermilion City Gym against Lt. Surge. He lost the initial battle but over came the Raichu in battle during the second round. Proving that one does not need to evolve to be great.
The Grass cat pokemon
Sprigatito the grass cat pokemon. It is a grass cat like Pokemon that is a starter Pokemon in the Paldea region from the ninth generation of pokemon.
This pokemon has the capability to evolve 2 more times like any starter. It evolves into Floragato at lvl 16 and again at lvl 36 into Meowscarada where it gains the dark type typing. Sprigatito is the starter partner pokemon or the new main character Liko and her sprigatito has evolved fully as their team work grew.
